This department is the epitome of lazy cops. I was in a shopping center and they were parked side by side in a row having a nice chat, therefore blocking the entire row of parking. I got out and as I walked up, I heard them laughing and talking to each other about weekend plans and such in their cars. I said you know people are trying to get through and you guys are blocking the way, and the one cop didn't reply but after a few seconds the other cop goes it's an investigation ma'am. Yeah, an investigation about what they are doing tonight. If they are willing to lie to me about that I can only imagine what else they are lying about. I bet these are the kind of officers that wonder why the stigma of officers is so bad. Inconsiderate and liars.
Not good customer service after hours.
As an out - of tower house sitting and dog sitting for my daughter and son - in - law I had a disturbance at the front door around 9:50pm. Since my daughter and husband are new to the neighborhood and I did not know anyone, I called the Richmond Heights PD for a drive by in the neighborhood. The.dispatcher stated he would send someone to do a walk around house check. The RHPD arrived within minutes and took the time to thoroughly check all around the house and then let me know that they had done this and it was more than likely kids playing pranks but to not hesitate to call if I needed anything else. Thank Richmond Heights Police for your quick, professional but pleasant response!
