would give a 0 if possible. waited first in line with my wife and friend only to be seated all the way in the back where general admission got front seats. Answer from manager: “ oh i don’t know how they got those seats”. First and last time i will be coming here and definately advising against coming,
This is truly a fun place to go. I have been here multiple times and it is always a great time. The venue is very nice and seems to be very well kept. My only complaint about this place is their food is very pricey. This is compounded by the fact every show I have been to your are required to buy at least 2 items from the menu. Mind you, you could probably just buy a soda, but that seems to defeat the whole appetizer bit. Mind you the food was actually pretty good, just seemed really high priced since I had already also bought a ticket to the event. Other than that, they have some great acts come through here and it is a really nice venue.
Went again since then. Don't want to discourage local acts but the service makes me never want to go back. Also they don't care how bad your last experience was. Will not go back, even if I really want to see the act. I'm not willing to give $ to people who do not need it.
I would give no stars if that was an option. The hostess that seated us was an African American curly hair with black glasses woman who was very rude. My party of 3 had been waiting since 8 pm to get seated for a 10p Russell Peters show. We were the first in line, and this lady was rude when asked why other people after us are getting seated in the front of the club, while she sat us in the back. She didn't even acknowledge the question being asked. Honestly if she can't behave appropriately and provide good customer service, she should not be working there. She placed 3 other parties who were in the front of the line, to the back inside the comedy club. She lacks customer service skills and they really need to reevaluate her behavior and performance. As far as seating is concerned all of the staff there need to be on the same page as to where people should be seated. They need to train this hostess to have better customer skills, as I and anyone who I speak to will advise everyone we know not to go to this place again. I also will make a point to describe this particular hostess to everyone so that they know the type of person she really is. This is by far the worst service we have ever received. Don't ever go to this club, because the staff such as the hostess are very rude. Also I don't mind paying a lot for dinner or tickets, but customer service needs to be good, other wise it's not worth anything.
Saw the Sklar Brothers last night-very good show. I was initially hesitant about going because of the negative comments here and elsewhere about the venue but I was pleasantly surprised. Tables not packed together like at Funny Bone or other Clubs-check in was organized and got good seats with extra $6 charge. Service was as good as one can expect in such a tight time frame and friendly. Food choices are what one would expect from this type of place-Its not Tony's but the prices are NOT at that level either.
Don't book anything online. We always have a good experience once we are there but booking online is totally useless. They sell tickets that don't exist, and dinner reservations when they not even open.
